Mahmoud Abu Rayyah, one of the hadith critics, in his book Aḍwá ‘Ala al-Sunnat al-Moḥammadīyah, influenced by his view on the meaning of narration and the justice of the companions, has strongly denied the adverb mot’ammidan (intentionally) in the narrationman kadhiba ‘alyya mot’ammidan, he believes that this adverb entered the hadith through forgery or insertion of narrators, because this stipulation is not compatible with human reason and also the temperament of the Prophet (pbuh). In this article, by carefully examining and evaluating his claim, it has been proven that his evidence is unable to prove his claim, and this adverb has not only been included in the hadiths through forgery or insertion, but the adverb mot’ammidan has been repeatedly quoted from the majestic companions of the Prophet (pbuh). Therefore, this stipulation is approved by the Holy Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah, and it does not have any intellectual prohibitions.
