It seems that many ambiguities and interpretive errors have arisen from trusting the "narratives of cause of revelation" under the verses and surahs and ignoring the appearance and context of the verses and surahs of the Qur'an, as well as the similar and related verses and the historical context of revelation of the Qur'an. Due to these factors, one of the surahs that has been given an incorrect interpretation is Surah al-Ḍuḥá. The popular view is that this surah refers to Fatrat Waḥy (the period of time when revelation was interrupted); However, the appearance and context of the verses of this surah and similar verses demonstrate that this surah was revealed about the financial hardship of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which was brought upon him by giving away his property to the needy, and the polytheists of Quraysh considered it as a sign of Allah's turning away from the Prophet (pbuh).
